Reagan's First Room

I know a few of you have been asking me what Reagan's room looks like, so here it is!! It's not quite finished but it's what I have so far. I fell in love with this bedding set even before we knew we were having a girl. I painted the wooden flowers and dragon flies that are now on the wall. I was quite impress on how they came out looking. Hope you like.

Pregnancy Pictures

So Todd and I both wanted to record my pregnancy with some good pictures of my belly. Todd has a friend who retired from photography and still had all his equipment. So he came over and literally set up a studio in our living room and we had a fun filled day taking pictures. I think we ended up taking over 100 pictures! Here are a few of my favorite ones. I hope they look good.

Reagan Marie

As most of you know Todd and I are expecting our first child. We recently got very exciting news, we found out we are going to be having a little girl! We are going to be naming her Reagan Marie. My parents got to be here with us when we found out. After the big news we went straight to get Reagan's nursery set up. It was very nice to have Mom and Dad here to help with all that. This ultrasound picture of Reagan is of her little foot. If you look closely you can count five little toes... It is amazing to be able to see our child on a big screen even when she is still inside me!! She is getting really big and her kicks are getting stronger!! Also here are some pictures of me pregnant at 22 weeks.

Parents Visit

Well as you can tell we had fun filled days (with a little work) when my parents came out to visit! After putting my Dad and Todd to work on new window shelves and curtains we then put them to work on re-seeding our back yard so Reagan can have some grass to play on. But don't worry we partied just as hard as we made them work! We got to go bowling, which was a blast! Todd and Dad also got to relax after their hard day with a nice cigar and drink. We had such a great time while they were here and are looking forward to seeing them this Fall for Reagan's birth!

NO, I'm not really smoking or drinking!

A Day in Atlanta

While Mom and Dad were here we decided to spend a day in Atlanta, GA. There is a civil War museum or Cyclorama my Dad was interested in seeing. So our first stop was there. I am glad we went because it turned out to be very interesting. There is a gigantic oil painting depicting the battle in Atlanta and it was amazing. You sit down and the room spins around the painting and they have made it look 3D and well it was cool. After that we went to an Atlanta Braves game. We had seats with a great view. The Braves won and it was a perfect end to a perfect day. You will note the picture where Dad is "kissing" the gorilla. Todd made the comment that he was amazed Dad managed to get his picture on the side of the Zoo. So that is Dad "kissing" himself. We got a good laugh out of that one...

Air Show

Well on May 13th we had an Air Show come to town. Lucky Mom and Dad were able to be here with us to see it. It was an all day event and the weather was perfect! The Air Show consisted of the Air Force Thunderbirds and all other acrobatic planes! It was quite a show! There were display planes all around the area so we got to walk around and look at really big and cool Air Force planes. Todd would be better able to explain in detail what planes we saw and all about each airplane but all I can tell you is that we really had fun!

Birthday Celebrations

Well this weekend we celebrated Matthews birthday. (Sunny's husband) From the pictures I guess you can tell everyone had a great time! I got some funny pictures of our pastor Jeff and Matthew in a funny hat:) There were a lot of people that came, some I knew some I didn't but it was a fun time. There was live entertainment from Randy and Mackenzie Chester, who also are the ones who sang at Todd's and My wedding! It was really great to see and catch up with them considering it had been since our wedding that we had seen them! They are doing really good and producing great music! The picture of Sunny and Matthew I put up because I thought it was hilarious. It looks like they are the people from the painting of the farmer and his wife, which if you think about it is a bit comical since they do live in an old farm house... The last picture is of the two pregnant ladies in the house that night, me being one of them and the other lovely lady is a friend of Sunny and Matthews, Talitha. She is due in July. As you can tell I am barley showing at 17 weeks. Any ways I just wanted to let you know what we were up too here lately.

Just some pictures

I just wanted to share a few pictures with everyone since this is a new thing and all... The first one is a picture of our New Years Tradition.. hee hee the next one is of Mom and Dad just having some fun on New Years. The last pic is of when Kelly was here visiting. I also included our baby's first picture. Hope you enjoy.

Catching Up

Hey every one. This is a new thing for Todd and me. We thought it would be a nice way for friends and family to keep up with us. I wanted to just catch every one up on what is new with Todd and me. Currently Todd is an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He is doing really good. We are living on base, Robins AFB (Air Force Base) in Warner Robins, Georgia. Todd is awaiting pilot training which will be in Columbus, Mississippi. We should be moving there come December. Another new event for our little family is that it wont be so little anymore. Todd and I are having our first child. I guess you can say I got a little surprise gift for Christmas this year. Although it was not planned we are really excited and can't wait to see our little one come in September! A lot of people have asked about names and yes we have picked out a few. We picked out Robert James (R.J. or Jay) for a boy and Reagan Marie for a girl. We still do not know what we are having but we will find out early May. We are also excited because my parents will be here visiting when we do find out.
We just celebrated Todd's 26th birthday (March 27) and we also got to share that with my big sister Kelly. She came to visit for a week and we had a blast!! I am so glad she got to do that! Thanks Kelly!! Well that is all I can think of for now...
